Founded by Dan Schmitt and Eric Pothoff, 931 Hockey stands as Clarksville’s exclusive hockey shop for all things hockey. As the city’s sole hockey store, we also offer specialized training programs and other services like skate sharpening.
It’s our goal to ensure players of all levels have access to premium hockey equipment and expert guidance.

Dan Schmitt
Co-Owner
Dan is a USA Hockey certified coach. He represented Team USA in Scandinavia and has played collegiately as well as professionally.
Eric Pothoff
Co-Owner
Eric is our Co-owner and operations manager. He’s a hockey coach, pro ice tech, and he does on ice operations for Nashville Predators.
Dalton Henderson
Coach
Originally from Central Maine, Dalton served four years in the Army before deciding to call Clarksville home. With 20 years of playing experience, Dalton brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our coaching team.
Tyler
Pro Shop Manager
Originally from southern Illinois, Tyler spent 6 years in the army and settled down in Tennessee. He is our pro shop manager, and skate technician. His favorite hockey team is the Colorado Avalanche!
Alyssa
Social Media Manager
Clarksville resident, and mama to one kiddo. Alyssa runs our social media platforms, and brings her weird personality everywhere she goes.
Lindsey
Bookkeeper
This mama of 2 loves to read, and is a singer in a band (PanAmerican Hayride). She is originally from Memphis, moved to Clarksvillle in 2002, and recently relocated to Cumberland City.
Nikki
Merch
Mama of 4 awesome little ones, and owner of Gingham Roots. She is a Clarksville local, and was raised in Adams, TN! She ensures every merch item is made to perfection.
